Special Grand Marnier, Orange, Butter Sauce


    For a snack or dessert, try this light and flavoursome recipe! "Crêpe au beurre Suzette, a sauce made with caramelized sugar and butter, mandarin or orange juice, zest, and Grand Marnier or Curaçao liqueur.

    Joseph, the pastry chef at the Paris restaurant Le Marivaux in 1897, often delivered crêpes to the Comédie-Française. Enchanted by Suzanne Reichenberg, he gave them the affectionate nickname "crêpes Suzette" in homage to the artist.
